THE BOAT:
As one of the few sailing schools in the Netherlands, AIRFORCE teaches on a modern AIRA 22. In addition to its beautiful lines and excellent sailing characteristics, this boat also has nice benches with comfortable cushions! That is really comfortable and makes sailing accessible for the somewhat older student. Sailing in an AIRA 22 is simple, comfortable, sporty and above all safe.
It really is the ideal boat to learn sailing. Capsizing is really not possible and the boom hangs nicely high above your head. This provides extra safety and overview. Because the boat is somewhat heavier and has an in-board electric motor, the AIRA 22 is also the ideal stepping stone to yachtsailing.
THE INSTRUCTOR:
His name is Marco. He has been sailing since he was young. He feels completely in his element beeing on the water.
Over the past 23 years, he has worked at various sailing schools and gained a lot of experience in the disciplines of keelboat and yacht sailing. He is CWO (Water Sports Training Committee) trained and holds the necessary water sports diplomas, including: CWO Instructor-III Keelboat, CWO IV Keelboat, CWO Instructor-II YachtSailing, CWO IV Yacht Sailing, Theoretical Coastal Navigation, Small Boat License I and II, Basic Certificate Marine Radio, and First Aid for water sports enthusiasts.
He now teaches in Haarlem on his own boat and according to his own developed teaching method. Introducing people to sailing, teaching them to maneuver well and safely and seeing them grow quickly in this, still gives him a lot of satisfaction.
He creates a relaxed atmosphere on board. He creates a safe environment in which you can learn optimally and grow quickly, by discovering, trying, but also by being allowed to make mistakes. The Funfactor while learning to sail is always central.

The sailing area of AIRFORCE is "het Buiten-Spaarne" and "de Mooie Nel". This is a beautiful sailing area near Haarlem. This water is often sailed intensively by other watersports enthusiasts and and also commercial ships , so you can also practice the priority rules right away. An ideal sailing area to practice all possible maneuvers.
